The Aqualine leads to the "Umihotaru." This scenic rest area has an observation deck, as well as shopping facilities and food places. Off the JR Tsurumi Line the platform is constructed over the ocean's edge. While providing a great view, fishing here is not allowed.
Rokugo Dote Hot Springs is a natural hot spa with brown water. With temperatures ranging from 39 to 44 degrees Centigrade, the baths' main mineral component is Sodium Bicarbonate, and is said to leave the skin very smooth.
Another hot spring in the area is the Yokoyama Yu-land Hot Springs with mineral-heavy waters coming from 1,500 meters underground. The temperatures range from 38-42 degrees Centigrade. The waters heavy with Sodium Chloride are Hypertonic with a pH 7.4 acidity level come in jacuzzi massages, and coloured baths for children.
Ikegami Honmonji Temple Gardens boasts of a beautiful private garden outside the temples. These can be viewed from a rest house in the Temple premises.
