To get to Kawasaki using the JR Railway system, take the train from the Tokyo Central Station. Kawasaki can also be reached via the Keihin Kyuko from Shinagawa, or by directly connecting with the Asakusa Line.
The Aqualine expressway lays half under the Tokyo Bay and half on a bridgeway above the sea. It links the south industrial section of Kawasaki to Kisarazu, a small farming and fishing town.
Three minor branch train lines of the JR Railway System lead to the south from the Kawasaki Station. It is recommended if you wish to reach the famous Kawasaki Daishi Temple .
To leave Kawasaki for other destinations, there is the Marine Express Ferry with evening trips to Shikoku , Kyushu or Wakayama Prefecture . It provides private rooms, to bunk beds, and the shared tatami room that requires a passenger to use his own sleeping bag. It also has shared public bath with sauna.
