Japan 's religiosity is world-renowned. Much of the tourist destinations in this small country are virtual gateways to the colorful history that established this oriental power. Aside from this rich culture, Japan also provides experiences to the senses with places like Kotohira.
Kotohira is a town 30 km southwest of Takamatsu . It can be found straddling the Kanakura-gawa near the foot of the mountain called Zozu-san, so named for its resemblance of an elephant's head (zozu).
