Discover Nagoya

Nagoya, Japan’s fourth-largest city is located in Aichi prefecture in the geographic centre of the country. From its ancient roots as a feudal town can be evidenced in the more than 400 year old Nagoya Castle, a piece of historical architecture characterized by a pair of golden dolphins on its roof. The castle town soon gave way to progress with the city experiencing a major population boom into a thriving metropolis.

Japan’s World Expo 2005 is located very near Nagoya City, the city’s airport becoming the main point of entry for thousands of visitors to the World Expo grounds and attractions.
