Discover Oita
Oita City, located on the island of Kyushu, is one of Japan’s
showcase urban developments after the end of the Second World
War. Although considered as one of Japan’s older, historic
cities, Oita is currently experiencing renewed economic activity.
One of the city’s goals is to become a regional hub in
southern Japan and become a crossroad for the Asia Pacific.
