Access by road

From Tokyo Areas - Take the Shuto Kosoku Wangan Expressway via Bay Bridge and exit at Shin-Yamashita Exit or take Shuto Kosoku Yokohane Expressway toward Yokohama Koen (Yokohama Park) and exit at Minato-Mirai Exit. From Chiba (Kisarazu) areas, take the Shuto-Kosoku Wangan Expressway via Tokyo Aqua-Line and exit at Minato-Mirai Exit. For Kannai/Ishikawa-cho, it's more convenient to exit at Yokohama Koen (Yokohama Park) Exit or Shin-Yamashita Exit.

From Kansai/Chubu Areas - Take the Tomei Expressway and exit at Yokohama Machida IC. Take the Hodogaya Bypass toward Yokohama, at Kariba IC take the Shuto-Kosoku Kanagawa Kariba Expressway toward Yokohama, and exit at Minato Mirai Exit.

Access by rail

From Tokyo Areas - From Tohoku / Joetsu / Nagano areas, take a Shinkansen train (bullet train service) and get off at Tokyo Station. It takes about 28 minutes by JR Tokaido Line, about 31 minutes by JR Yokosuka Line, and about 40 minutes by JR Keihin Tohoku Line from Tokyo to Yokohama.

From Kansai Areas - Take a Shinkansen train and get off at Shin-Yokohama Station. From Shin-Yokohama Station to Yokohama, it takes about 12 minutes by JR Yokohama Line (Transfer to Keihin-Tohoku Line at Higashi-Kanagawa Station) and about 11 minutes by Shiei-Chikatetsu (Municipal Subway).

Access by air

There are regular domestic flights to and from Narita Airport in Tokyo to Yokohama, and from the famous Kansai International Airport to Yokohama. Check with your preferred airline for schedules and ticketing.
