Project: Fish

You will need a square piece of paper for this traditional Origami design.

Step 1: Valley fold the sheet in half along the vertical diagonal.

Step 2: Fold corners A and B over the left so they touch. AC should be longer than BD.

Step 3: Unfold. Triangle ACE should be larger than BDE.

Step 4: Refold all creases exactly as shown. Begin to fold along the creases EC, CF, ED, and DF, so that A and B come forward...

Step 5: ...like this. Bend E and F backward so they meet. Also A and B also meet...

Step 6: ...like this. Fold up E and F as shown.

Step 7: Pull down corner F to complete the tail. Turn corners A and B inside out, opening out each to do so.

Step 8: The complete fish...

Step 9: ...and from the other side!
