For those that aren't on a tight budget, especially for singles and young couples, Roppongi is the perfect place to live.
Azabu, Hiroo and Sirokane are cosmopolitan neighborhoods in Tokyo 's Minato Ward where prime expat properties can be found. The most common type of housing in this area is mostly low-rise apartment complexes. Sirokane is considered as an "old money" neighborhood where you can find houses with gardens. Ebisu, Meguro , and Gotanda are cities located in central Tokyo that has some of the most affordable housing around. They are also near Roppongi, Daikanyama and some business districts. Residential buildings in Setagaya vary from low-rise apartments to spacious homes with gardens. Although it is a suburban area there are parks, upscale shopping malls, and other places to visit here.
