Opportunities in Information
Technology

is a must that an applicant knows how to speak Japanese, some
IT jobs does not require it. However, knowing how will give
you an edge over non-speakers of the language. In addition,
not being able to speak Japanese language will cut off your
job-opportunities by a whopping 95%, as non-Japanese speakers
will probably only find employment in companies where the bosses
have good command of English or if the job does not necessitate
the use of Japanese. That is why it is a good investment to
learn the language.
If you are really interested in getting
a job in IT in Japan, there is no way but to go there and
look for one. However, there
are instances when a Japanese company will offer a person to
fly to Japan, with all the expenses paid, but this is usually
for people who have gained the respect of a Japanese company
through pioneer innovations is the industry.
Japanese companies
are more likely to hire you if you have certifications for
the skills and languages that you indicated
in your resume.
Though many talented programmers/administrators/media creators
got away without it, it will be a good start if you have
some “certs” to
prove to your prospective employers that you are competent
enough for the job.
Many tasks as an IT professional will
require dealing with Japanese data. That’s why it will
be best if you can speak the language and is familiar with
having the OS in Japanese. If not, you should
start leaning, because you cannot just avoid using Japanese
systems.
