Improving Your Chances
It’s always a plus in improving one’s knowledge
of a foreign language, in this case being Japanese. Before leaving
your country of residence, it would be wise to brush up on your
language skills because it can come in handy.
Make sure everyone around (family, friends) knows where you’re
going and what you plan to do. That way, word can travel to those
who might be able to give you a leg up on job applications. The
more publicized your plans, the better.
Once you arrive in Japan, ask fellow travelers for their
tips on short-term job hunting. Most of them will freely offer
what information they have and will even help you in your quest.
