Japanese Books & Literature
Both in quantity and quality, Japanese Literature
ranks as one of the major literatures of the world, comparable
in age, richness, and volume to English Literature. In the
West, we are inclined to think of History as something like
a bare recitation of facts but, in Japan, History is closer
to Literature than fact- taking on mythological, poetic and
spiritual dimensions. The best way to understand Japanese Books
and Literature is to chronologically decipher them.
