Japanese music is of a diverse nature; one that has roots deeply planted in ancient Japan or made the crossover from China and Korea. Japanese music traditionally embodied drama, dance and song that can sometimes be intricate and intriguing.

And when paired with their specific recommended instruments, the music seem to ebb and flow like the progression of a plot. Japanese music spans a myriad of genres including classical, rock, j-pop (Japanese pop), festival and folk music. But traditional music from Japanese would always be the foundation of Japanese culture.
