The Reiki Practitioner

Finding a Reiki practitioner thru the internet is much easier than in the yellow pages which do not contain a section of this specific nature.  Most Reiki practitioners have combined modalities such as massage, chiropractic and the like.  Some are not willing to advertise and prefers the word of mouth or flyers.

A practitioner of the Usui System of Natural Healing is one of who has received the attunements to the Reiki energy which are only given in a Reiki class.  There are three levels of Reiki practitioners: Level 1 - gives access to the energy and direct hands on healing; Level II – Level 1 plus healing at a distance; and Level III – Level II plus the Master Symbol.  The Master Teacher has all the abilities of Level III plus the ability to train Reiki practitioners.  It is not usually thought of as a separate level from III and generally come from apprenticeship with an experienced Reiki teacher.
