Common Japanese business practices

Culture is one of the main driving forces that helped the Japanese people reach success, and their observance of certain etiquettes not just in dealing with business counterparts but in living their everyday lives as well keeps them focused while continuously helping their abundant cultural heritage to flourish.

There are many unwritten laws and codes of conduct to be followed in business arrangements. Although a foreigner is not expected to know all these codes by heart, being knowledgeable in some basic Japanese business practices will be beneficial in achieving a successful business venture in this country.
