Makiko Tanaka is the daughter of the most honored postwar Japanese Prime Minister, Kakuei Tanaka. She is the currently inducted Foreign Minister of Japan and is taking a path very much different from the ways of her father. Junichiro Koizumi is seen as the most outspoken and most charismatic Prime Minister in years. He has been injecting new life to Japanese politics. He finished with a degree in Economics and has had plenty of political experience before taking the Prime Ministerial position. He has been appointing young politicians and promoting women in his cabinet, which made him gather more public support.
