It is short for role playing game. As what the title suggests, you role-play a certain character(s) that go through storylines or quests and increase your players’ skills and strengths.

What is a Simulation game?

It is quite simply a game wherein you get to control aspects within the game that reflects real-life situations.

Why do Japanese video games have funny-looking characters?

It is probably because of their different culture. A good example would be the difference between American cartoons and Japanese “animes” (or Japanese cartoons). But in the world of video games, who’s to say that something should be the norm?

Are all Japanese video games good?

Like most games out there, they usually cater to different tastes. So it all boils down to how you see the game after you have tried it out.

The import Japanese video game I bought doesn’t come with an audio track of my country. Why?

It was made in Japan for the Japanese people, so it goes without saying that it’s all in Japanese.
