Take a break from shopping in the many diners and restaurants at Akihabara.
There is a cluster of fast-food chain (American or otherwise) under the train tracks to the north of this shopping district.

But for an authentic Japanese meal, the first floor of the station building has shops which serve light meals and snacks, including Sushi. A few blocks down Chuo-dori towards Metro Suehirocho, is Tenya, a shop specializing in cheap tempura.
