Buyer Tips

• Except in bigger shops like Laox, the district is not known for its English-speaking personnel. Consequently, the products they offer don’t always carry English manuals.

• Check the items and peripherals you purchase, some of which may only work for the Japanese domestic market (100volt AC) and may not be covered with an overseas warranty.

• Sundays are the busiest days here as PC experts, audiophiles, techno-geeks and hobbyist crowd the area.

• There are too many interesting shops in Akihabara to go over the area in one day. It can be noisy, overcrowded and too much to handle. Schedule your visits at different days so you will be able to enjoy your shopping experience.
