Ginza shop list
Ginza is home to Japan’s oldest and most
prestigious department stores, many of which carry Louis Vuitton,
Dior, Chanel and Prada.
Mistsukoshi Departent Store is particularly
one that dates back to the Meiji Era. It is one of Japan’s
first Western style department store. For over three centuries,
this store has ranked
as a well-renowned department store in Asia, with loyal patrons

Wako Department Store is also famous for its foreign goods,
particularly watches, porcelain and jewelry. One of the few
buildings left
after the war, it is located in the heart of Ginza, with its
famous clock tower as the district’s distinctive landmark.
Its clock tower plays the same chimes heard at Westminster

One of the oldest and largest
toy stores in Japan, Hakuhinkan
Toy Park is situated at the south end of Ginza-dori. It sells
particularly unique toys that are only available to them.

The Sony Building is located
just right after Sukiyabashi crossing. Here of course, is
where you can find all the very
latest Sony
gadgets on display. There is even a high vision theatre,
a broadcasting studio and several room layouts and models
for
home theater enthusiast
to take inspirations from.
Demonstrations are held throughout
the day between 10:00 am to 8:00pm.
The seven levels of The Apple Store, with its pearly
white cube like structure, offer all of the latest Apple
products.
It is
found in the corner of Chuo-dori and Matsuya-dori.
Tasaki
Pearl Gallery is a famous store engaging in the cultivation,
processing, and sale of pearls. It is also
a maker of jewelry
watches. On its upper floors are displays of railroad
models with the same intricacies as its jewelry watches.
The store

In Ginza,
brand shops like Gucci or Coach are found on Namiki Street.
