Fujigoko or the Fuji Five Lakes
region is located at the base of Mount Fuji. It is considered
as one of the best location
to view Mount Fuji. It is often used as a base to climb
Mount Fuji because of its convenient location. The Five Lakes
are
Kawaguchiko, Yamanaka, Sai, Shoji and Motosu. Among the
five, Lake Kawaguchiko is the most developed lake resort. This
is also the most accessible through train or by bus.
