Era  -  a historical period or reckoning of years, dating from some important event or fixed point of time.

Feudal -  pertaining to the relation of lord and vassal as to land held of a superior on condition of rendering service.

Imperial -  of or pertaining to an empire or to as emperor or empress.

Kabuki -  a kind of Japanese play on popular or comic themes employing elaborate costumes, stylized gesture, music and dancing.

Samurai -  a member of the soldier class of the lower nobility.

Shogun -  the hereditary commander in chief of the Japanese army.
